WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) — The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a Back to School Bash Saturday, inviting students out for one last hurrah before school starts in the first week of August.
According to officials the goal of this event is to help students start the new school year feeling prepared and ready to go. One of the ways they are working to help prepare students is by giving away school supplies so that any and every student starts the year off right with a backpack full of the essentials.
Though this event includes school supplies giveaways, it is also meant to be a celebration, so there will also be a cookout, ice cream truck and a video game truck.
This free Back to School Bash will be held at the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office in Walterboro from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
