I have almost 400 hours and I don't think I've ever seen this half dead NPC.
So I was walking through NC taking photos when I found a crowd listening to this conspiracy guy in Kabuki, close to Allen St. and ripperdoc Sogo Watanabe. Normally I would've kept walking, but it was my first time listening to him so I stood there to hear his speech.
Along the lines he says:
– No kind of chrome can stand in for your soul.
– Metal rusts… meat rots… while the soul pleads desperatly "be warned! And tremble!"
– This city bathes in rust, luxuriates in rot.
Right after he said the second line this NPC walked across my screen, pushing me, and just there I noticed his zombie-like appearence.
At first I thought it was staged or scripted, like he was part of the act, but it wasn't.
I've seen the average homeless junkies NPC's with their veins showing up and that same walk, but this one was new. He literally looks like he's rotting.
Anyway I followed him for a while, he walked around the area until I scared him off and ran away. Then my game crashed while I was chasing him and a car ran me over.
When I loaded my game I went back to the same location and he didn't spawned.
I don't know, maybe I've seen him and just didn't notice, or maybe my game was acting funny and his skin isn't supposed to look like that? Regardless, that was a very fun (and kinda creepy) coincidence.
Still amazes me how after hundreds of hours, I keep finding new stuff.
