I wanted to try Warzone again after MW iteration just to see how it plays since Apex gets stale sometimes.. Here are my thoughts and comparison of both games.
* WZ guns feel good. Not all of them, but most of them. Apex is the same, but I liked the diversity in WZ. Quickscoping works better with low TTK, so sniper rifles feel more viable and less "heavy" on your hands.
* WZ movement is faster, momentum gain is almost instant.
* I have a 4060, i513400F and game stutters like crazy. I unfortunately must say Apex is much, much better optimized.
* I only played plunder resurgence quads, matchmaking was good (EU)
* I love how easy it is to pick up guns off ground, no need to open deathbox. But then, gadgets and deployables are very confusing. In my 2-3 hour gameplay, I've never used a grenade, airstrike or anything other than ammo/armor boxes. I mostly don't know what I am looking at and had hard time recognizing stuff.
* I liked how easy it is to refill your shields. You are not slowed and can move around more freely, this makes you less dependant on your teammates when you get cracked.
* Lower TTK honestly felt like a fresh air. I enjoyed dropping people very fast.
* Loadouts and other stuff make this game a bit more complicated. I don't have anything unlocked so I just pick stuff off ground or off people. I didn't feel like "leveling up" any weapons or anything. I didn't like the idea of playing stock weapons in a BR environment to level them up. I don't own any COD games.
Honestly, I would play this game if it wasn't stuttering like crazy even with DLSS on balanced. I used medium-low settings. I don't know why the game stutters or if there is any fixes to it, but it's simply not worth it to play the game like this for me in a long run. I will log in when I get bored of apex, though.
