I came from PlayStation, then went to the steam deck when it first released. Which made me a steam fan. Saved up money for the steam machine but my brother convinced me to get a desktop PC instead.
So, I got this PC, I used my brother, Chatgpt, Gemini and Claude to give me advice on which PC would be best for me.
I found one online for $2600 with these specs.
Redownloaded all my steam deck games on this PC and…. It's a little bizarre.
I guess I'm not used to seeing a game displaying over 30fps games for me. I had to literally turn down some of the games FPS down to 30fps because 120 gave me motion sickness. Some games I'm okay with it being over 120 like racing games but games like Hogwarts legacy at 120, I couldn't play it for a long time. Third person and FPS games is too much for my eyes.
Now my question:
I used to see people mod games to make them look super realistic on YouTube. Is that still a thing? If so, what's a list of games I should buy to mod to really make it look realistic?
