A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges arrives this Friday, July 10, as your console clock ticks past midnight into the new day. Five events, seven days to clear them, and the usual stack of bonus tickets waiting at the finish line.

New to the format? Weekly Challenges unlock once you’ve taken the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and sat through the ending movie.

Each set pairs four standard World Circuits races with a single Special Event, and reward tickets land at one, three, and five completions, delivered straight to your Gifts and needing to be redeemed before the set expires. Clear everything with clean race bonuses and there’s roughly 1.3m credits in cash and prizes up for grabs.

This Week’s Highlights

The spotlight belongs to the Special Event, a Time Trial around the reverse layout of Deep Forest Raceway in the BMW M3 GT ’11. Bronze requires a 1:05.500 or better, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold paying 12,000cr, 18,000cr, and 30,000cr respectively, making Gold the third-highest reward on the board this week.

On the World Circuits side, the World Touring Car 900 closes out the set at Suzuka Circuit, a 10-lap race capped at 900PP for the week’s biggest single payout at 170,000cr. Tire wear and fuel consumption are both set to 8x, so pit strategy will factor into the race. The World Touring Car 600 pairs with it at Autodromo de Interlagos, a shorter five-lap race capped at 600PP and worth 90,000cr.

The two remaining events open the week. The European Sunday Cup 400 at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit is the low point at just 7,000cr for three laps, while the American Clubman Cup 700 at Special Stage Route X is a single, flat-out lap worth 15,000cr.
