Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time each day
GO Fest 2026: Global is a FREE event in celebration of Pokémon GO’s 10th Anniversary!
There’s a ton to do and play your way!
Encounter the most diverse variety of Pokémon species ever observed in the wild! During each hour of the event, Trainers will have a higher chance of encountering Pokémon of a specific type. Over the course of the event weekend, Trainers will have the opportunity to encounter Pokémon of all 18 types. Use this time to earn the in-game platinum medal for each type!
Celebrate Pokémon GO Fest with an extra event hour, for a total of 9 hours each day, for both days: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. local time.
Mega Mewtwo X will appear in Super Mega Raids on Saturday and Mega Mewtwo Y will appear in Super Mega Raids on Sunday. Mewtwo caught from those raids will have at least one Mega Level unlocked, so you can Mega Evolve it into the form you battled without the initial energy cost. Completing these raids will also award Mega Energy! Learn more here.

Stormfire Peaks featuring Ice, Electric, and Fire types: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Astral Tides featuring Psychic, Ghost, and Water types; 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Dragonflight Summit featuring Flying, Rock, and Dragon types: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday
Earthforged Domain featuring Ground, Steel, and Normal types: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Verdant Anomaly featuring Poison, Bug, and Grass types: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Twilight Battlefield featuring Dark, Fairy, and Fighting types: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration

Global Challenges and Ultra Unlocks
Throughout the weekend, ticket-holding Trainers can work together to complete hourly Global Challenges that are part of three-hour blocks! If the challenge is completed in time, a special bonus will be unlocked for the remainder of the block for ticket-holding Trainers.
Trainers can activate upgraded versions of upcoming events by completing hourly Global Challenges during GO Fest 2026: Global. A new Ultra Unlock event will activate at 15, 30, and 45 successful Global Challenges!
Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary Edition
If Trainers complete 15 hourly Global Challenges, they’ll boost the 10th Anniversary Party event.
Event Dates and Times: Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, July 27, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time
Ultra Unlock: Water Festival
If Trainers complete 30 hourly Global Challenges, they’ll boost the Water Festival event.
Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, August 24, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time
Ultra Unlock: Super Mega Raid Day
If Trainers complete 45 hourly Global Challenges, they’ll boost the Super Mega Raid Day event.
August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time

Special Backgrounds During Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global
The Mewtwo that Trainers can catch after completing Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y Super Mega Raids might have a unique Special Background!
Pokémon other than Mewtwo caught from five-star raids, Primal Raids, and Mega Raid between July 6 and July 12, may also have a commemorative 10th anniversary–themed Special Background.
