Captain America kicks off the official character guide video series for the fighting game “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls” by developer Arc System Works. The new gameplay trailer for PS5 and PC demonstrates the Avengers leader’s shield-focused moveset in detail, highlighting rapid attack combos and the precise trajectory of the iconic Vibranium shield.
The mechanics behind Trick Shield and Shield Strike allow for complex changes of direction. The shield ricochets horizontally, vertically, and diagonally off walls. On its return trajectory, Captain America can deflect the projectile directly back at the opponent with a perfectly timed hit. This results in unpredictable ranged combos.
Additionally, the trailer visualizes the Tōkon Assemble mechanism. This comeback feature summons the Fighting Avengers for a coordinated team attack when defeat is imminent. You can play it yourself starting August 6, 2026.
