ASUS has designed the VG27AQM5F specifically for esports and competitive gaming, with the size and specifications being clear indicators of that. Built around a Fast IPS panel, the VG27AQM5F features a 0.3ms response time (presumably GTG) and a QHD resolution (2560×1440).
The idea is to provide visual clarity and prioritize speed. The monitor is engineered for players who demand every frame count, whether in fast-paced shooters or high-intensity racing titles.
This release continues ASUS’ push into the high-refresh-rate segment, where rivals like MSI and Alienware have also introduced 300Hz and above QHD monitors, all aimed at the same customer – competitive gamers.
The VG27AQM5F stands out by pushing the bar even higher, delivering 320Hz, making it one of the more aggressive specs in the current gaming monitor landscape, but certainly a most welcome addition.
With the TUF brand continuing to gain traction among budget and mid-tier gamers, this new model could shift expectations for what gamers look for in a new QHD monitor. Since Computex 2026 is only a few days away, we can expect ASUS to showcase a brand-new range of monitors, expected to be released sometime this year.
Stay tuned as we are on the ground at Computex 2026, and will be hitting you with all of the latest announcements from ASUS and other companies showcasing their brand new gaming monitor technology.
