TROY, Ala. (WSFA) – The NCAA Sun Belt Conference has announced the game times and television networks for Troy football’s first four games of the upcoming season, along with their midweek matchup against Southern Miss.

The Trojans will open the season on Sept. 5 against Sam Houston in the Vet, with kickoff set for 6 p.m., before hosting Alabama State on Sept. 12 at 2 p.m.

Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Troy’s first road game of the year is set for Sept. 19 at Missouri, with kickoff scheduled for 11:45 a.m. (CT) on SEC Network+ and ESPN+.

Their next game against Utah State will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. (CT) and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

Troy and Southern Miss square off in the Sun Belt Opener on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Vet; the game will be televised on ESPN2.

Troy will have a shot at a rematch with James Madison, who they fell to in the Sun Belt Championship Game, on Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. on either ESPN or ESPN2.

The Trojans are coming off their third Sun Belt West Division title and berth in the Sun Belt Championship after signing the best recruiting class in program history.

Both Goose Crowder and Tucker Kilcrease will return as starting quarterbacks in the Trojan lineup, along with First Team All-American punter Evan Crenshaw and defensive end Donnie Smith, who leads the Sun Belt Conference in sacks.
