Playing serpent tonight and see that someone has grabbed the kui Ji Crate. My teammate and I are on East side of the ship and chase. He starts running for extract at Kurohana base.
Teamate heads for the tunnel while I loop around from the south and head for the front gate. Helo has been called and a scan shows me the crate carrier crouched near the chain link fence and another enemy upstairs inside the closest building. 3 tap the crouched enemy and finish him with a lobbed frag grenade as teamate arrives. I push the building and die to the enemy who is crouching in a bathroom stall with a j358. Teamate pushes in a moment later , and they manage to drop each other simultaneously , but he can't use his assaulter pistol to get up because the guy crated immediately.
Our random teamate who has yet to say a word on comms is over at hotel. Says he's on his way. He saw us die and ran over to grab an atv, and though he drove it badly he managed to get to me to revive me with literally 2 seconds left.
A few minutes later and I manage to find an ultra in the vault under ship. Kudos to the one in a hundred helpful random teamate in dmz.
