I recently had the itch to play zombies again and I just, for the first time (on Steam), beat all of the Black Ops 3 Easter Eggs and I loved the story and gameplay of all the mainline maps (SOE -> Rev). My only major complaint was that it was kind of hard to get into matches for some, and even more so for any matches that didn't have a crazy cheater on it (like spawning stuff midmatch). I eventually got Cleanops, but that's besides the point.
I remembered I had Black Ops 4 and all of it's DLCs on Battle.net, so I decided to download the game again. Unlike Black Ops 3, I don't remember ANYTHING about Black Ops 4 and if safe to play and if it's easy to find lobbies in 2026. Any advice here, folks?
I also don't know how bad the grind is (I know gobblegums don't exist here, right?) or how annoying the Easter Eggs are.
Just mainly worried I won't find anyone and/or it's not going to be enjoyable.
