During a brainstorm for skins for the new version of the Cache map, I unexpectedly remembered the legendary pins that were especially popular in the Soviet and post-Soviet era. Almost anyone from the post-Soviet region has seen these pins at least once in their life, especially older generations.
I think that even many gamers who have seen the Cache map logo at least once can catch this association, since the logo itself somewhat looks like a pin. In addition, similar design elements already exist in the game.
These thoughts became the starting point for a big idea, creating a skin in the aesthetic of a Soviet pin. For me, these pins were always associated with something large-scale and symbolic, so the skin also had to give a feeling of power and monumentality. That is why the AWP was chosen.
