Bungie’s situation is not looking good. After announcing End of Life for Destiny 2 with Monument of Triumph this week, Bloomberg reported that sweeping layoffs are about to hit the company and that Bungie is fully pivoting to focus on Marathon while teams pitch new ideas for what could be next – but Bungie leadership and Sony haven’t greenlit anything, not even Destiny 3.
