So it looks like the next Modern Warfare's official color will be Yellow… oh, no… I was really hoping it wouldn't be…
I understand. In the big picture of it all, I am being petty (it's psychological to me, I genuinely don't like bright and joyful Yellow affiliation for such a badass game, especially the Modern Warfare brand). Perhaps, reassuringly the final product could be able to convince me otherwise (that, yes, Yellow can indeed be badass and complimentary to the tone and grit of III's follow-up) but I was really hoping they'd retain the Red and Black color scheme in consistency with who the supposed threat is after MWIII and what is at stake (Makarov/Konni Group, and a potential global scale conflict).
The pics I posted are examples of my personal style in relation to how I associate with COD, both inside and outside of playing it. Yes, color and style is very relevant to me — it's not just about looking good, it's also about feeling good because you genuinely like it and it makes you comfortable. But here's hoping for more Konni Group and Shadow Company vibes in the next Modern Warfare, and I genuinely cannot wait. I know I am going to enjoy the game regardless.
And I really hope there's more Red and Black cosmetics and physical merchandise, COD. Otherwise, Call of Duty, you officially put my specific style of Red and Black Modern Warfare physical treasure hunting to rest if you're going all in on Yellow. 🙁
What does everyone else think? Does anyone else share similar sentiments, or do you genuinely like it Yellow? (I'd like to see some other people's collections in the future — an all-Yellow-color-scheme-MW collection, that'd be interesting.)
