To start with, I’m an SMG/AR main and haven’t really used any other gun types. There were occasional times when I used an LMG, but never a Marksman rifle. Then came a free CP event. I was looking through discussions and leaks for the upcoming releases in the event and noticed the return of the Leggy Type 63. Man, I just loved the design of the gun.
I grinded for the free CP, and when the draw came, I got lucky. I finally got the skin I had always wanted. I practiced with the base skin prior to pulling for it, and it was really difficult to like because of the sights. But after getting the skin, everything felt great. I started checking out all the camos, and the platinum camo just felt right at home with it.
The grind was difficult (especially with the SPR, Kilo, and MK2), but after a few days of grinding, I finally got it. I just kept staring at it for a few minutes, admiring everything about it — the black flag, the silver body, and the red effects are truly chef’s kiss. The grind was hard but everything felt it was worth the time, everytime I see it in matches.
Now I’m thinking of doing the same thing for ARs, especially for my leggy KN-44, but thinking about grinding all those ARs already exhausts me lol.
Do you guys also have a skin where a camo just felt natural to use with it?
