Hi!

So I upgraded from an 5800x3d to a 9850x3d some months ago, and i quickly looked into optimal settings. I found this video, even though it was made for 9800x3d, and if i understand correctly these are very "healthy" and optimal settings for my CPU for the long term.

My config:

9850x3d

ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360

MSI B850 Tomahawk MAX wifi

Patriot Viper Venom 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 30-40-40-76

PSU: MSI A1000G

settings:

vcore offset: -0.05v

all cores: -10 (was unstable at -15 or more)

PPT 162W

TDC 120A

EDC 180A

Also did curve shaping thing like at around 35 minutes in the video.

Now, i've been happy with my PC, thermals are cool and it never crashed, but at the same time, i feel like i'd like some more performance out of it. I kinda feel like i bought a sports car, and hard limited its performance for optimal mileage and engine health, and that's not why you buy a sports car, if that makes sense.

My previous PC ran warzone at around 150-170fps, and this one runs it at 210-230. My target is a stable 260+, so not much more needed.

I also briefly talked with a guy who OCd a 9850x3d, but his 1% lows were better than my avg fps, and he said he did "Undervolt and positive boost clock override. Around -15 to -20 and +200". In the video above the dude talks about this boost lock override too, and it doesnt seem worth it. Or am i limited by my ram? I have no idea (xmp profiles are enabled ofc) .

So, TLDR: I want more performance, but don't want to do anything that's really unhealthy for my PC. Any recommendations? How should I change my settings above, or are those good?
