This experiment we are running has no admins or staff enforcing borders, so what you see here are players who are claiming land and hoping they are able to hold it using in-game mechanics.
This experiment has been running around six months so far and has had over 5,000 unique players join and contribute in that time. Borders are shifting all the time and the world is changing at a rapid pace.
The east is currently in a bit of a chaotic state at the moment, with multiple skirmishes and small wars going on. But new nations continue to pop up despite the sporadic conflict. Many of the world's nations are working on rail lines and debating best practices and methods. Others are just writing books and distributing their literature and propaganda through the world using a printing press.
Feel free to ask about any certain areas or conflicts on the map! I love to see how this has developed over time and what actions/decisions people take next to shape the world. It's crazy what giving people a truly free sandbox can do. Yet, they'll still draw borders and imaginary lines.
