Whether you’re overclocking your 5090 to 1600 watts or running a shunt modded 5080, 5070 ti, or just using your card to solely game… the best cable I have come across for load distribution and least amount of vdroop has been cablemods cables. I specifically run the RT basics for my setup. It seems the mass of 12vhpwr is junk except for this brand of cables. I will note however; after about 3-5x plugging it in you start to lose your load balance and vdroop will start becoming higher and higher. I can comfortably run 640 watts max continuously through this cable and not bat an eye. Other brand of cables are good but then they degrade after a few weeks. I currently run the RT(Seasonic) Basics 4x 8pin – 12vhpwr. I’m constantly messing with my pc so I’ve bought a few of them to keep around. If you want ease of mind when running your hardware; I highly recommend this brand of cables.
