First off, thanks to this sub I finally got the courage to OC my DDR4 bdie kit. The kit is a Gskill F3600-C14D-32GTZNA that I’ve just had running at the xmp speed of 3600 14-14-14-34 for nearly two years (I know, massive waste). I’m also running a 14900k on a MSI B660 MAG Mortar (carry over from my old 12600k). Ive got the SA voltage at 1.3 and VCC at 1.2.

I decided I’d go for a more “mild” overclock as I much prefer stability and peace of mind over benchmark scores, while also squeezing out a little extra performance.

So far I’ve landed on 4000mt/s 15-15-15-30 @1.5v, secondaries and tertiaries in the pics. I did lean more into the “safe” numbers in the DDR4 OC guide, but I’m thinking there may be room to push a little further. I’ve been running OCCT SSE and AVX stress tests, and the dimms max out at 43.5 and 41.2*C during 30min runs. I also noticed that my latency didn’t improve much in OCCT’s memory benchmarks, but my bandwidth did naturally. I thought I’d see more improvement in latency despite looser primaries due to tightened secondaries, but that didnt seem to be the case for me.

Curious if some of you more seasoned folk could look over my numbers and let me know what you think. Should I be worried about pushing it further? Should I try bringing down the voltage a touch, or should I try for 4000 14-14-14-28? Or just be satisfied and leave it alone lol. Thanks

Also, apologies for the photos of my monitor
