Hey guys.
Is it possible that the OS has an impact in the stability of my tuning? I have a 7800x3d.
First time i tuned it, was with WIN 11 IOT Enterprise LTSC. 2 cores had to go to something like -27 or -25 because it couldnt do -30 on all of them. Completely expected behavior. It did 97h of core cycler with prime95 (default set of instructions), only changing time from 6min default to 12min.
At some point i reset the bios, and didn't remember the exact values.
Now I'm running WIN 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC. It does -30 on all cores. It ran 146h of core cycler prime95, with 15min. Same set of instructions as first tuning. Screenshot
Not only it's not common to have a sample to be stable at -30 on all cores, but it's weird that before it couldnt do -30 and now it can.
Both times the OS were recent installs. So not much junk…… Also OS was the only change.
What else should i run on it with core cycler?
Pls discard the obvious reasons like bios update, or something extra in the background preventing max swings on the boost.
