
I thought I had ruined my computer. I have no idea if this could have done any damage. I followed this video and did exactly what he said

Basically these settings:
Cpu ratio 42 (4200mhz)
Cpu loadline calibration control mode 5
Core voltage 1.28
Disable c state control disabled
Pss disabled (cool n quiet)
Svm mode disable
This led to my windows trying to auto repair, after a few restarts it just goes to a black screen. I manually restarted, did nothing but black screen.
So I removed and reseated the battery in the mobo. After entering bios and checking everything is back to factory ( global c state was still disabled weirdly) I was able to start windows normally.
Is it possible I've damaged a component? Is there a way to check? Would it be folly to try another, safer overclock?
