[COD] With a movie on the way, would anyone else prefer for COD to ditch seasonal story drops in favor of movies and TV shows if this succeeds?

It would be a relief for me because it’s frustrating having to keep up with every single online mode just to know what the hell is going on in this cinematic universe they are trying to make. I’ve mainly been following the rebooted Modern Warfare, but the way they’ve handled it's post campaign narrative makes the narrative difficult to grasp. MWIII didn't even have a seasonal story because IW seemingly backed out of helping Sledgehammer. Treyarch’s story has been slightly easier to follow despite the degradation towards their latest game, but I’d love for them to move to film/TV as well. Obviously, campaigns would still be a thing.
