The Wolves and Denver have met multiple times in the postseason in recent years, with the Nuggets winning 4-1 in the first round of the 2023 playoffs and the Wolves winning 4-3 in the second round of the 2024 playoffs.

Like this year, Denver had home-court advantage in each of those matchups.

Minnesota is in the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season and has reached the Western Conference Finals in each of the past two years.
