Please bear with me as I don’t know anything about gaming PCs. I’m looking to buy my son (17) one for his birthday. He has a gaming laptop and has been wanting to switch over. I seen that the price can go up pretty quickly so I’m wondering if it’s possible to buy a decent Beginner gaming PC for around $1,200 usd. There is one at my local store for that price and I’m would like to know if this is a good option or is it overpriced for what it is. Also open to any suggestions of what basics I should be looking for, any information is appreciated!
