For daily use I run my Windforce OC at 0.895V 2826MHz +2000 memory. These settings are still pretty good and get 95% of the performance but the card stays in the 50s during gaming in a 20’c room.
After a bit of trial and error, I upped the settings to 0.915V 2992MHz +2950 memory and ran some benchmarks.
I had previously found that upping the voltage or memory clocks had reduced scores but by pushing through to almost 3GHz the card seemed to be a lot happier.
I was aiming for the 16000 mark in steel nomad so I’m pretty happy with the results.
My CPU definitely holds back my overall scores in Time Spy.
I have a 30mm thick 120mm fan spinning at 3150rpm blasting air straight through the pass through of my GPU heat-sync. This reduced GPU temps by 5’c during a steel nomad run.
