So the heatsink has been tweaked as needed, new mounting locations for the core. Tomorrow I will do more tweaking to the heatsink so I can fit the power connectors as I did not account for the tab on the connector which actually protrudes quite a lot. The fan plug is the same, however this model has two and there is only one header on the 1080ti, already ordered a 2:1 adapter. I’m waiting on 1/8in thick aluminum sheet for custom backplate to make it look decent. As for cooling everything else, the top row of memory will need to use 1.5mm thermal pads, all other memory modules can’t be fitted with pads but can be cooked by tiny heatsinks as there is plenty of room to do so. As for power delivery again a mix of 1.5mm thermal pads and tiny heatsinks. Hopefully I get a decent drop in temperatures. The core is making good contact and everything.
