The Invincible Vs Open Beta has begun. Skybound Games recently decided to extend the Open Beta period until 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT April 11 — later today.

Though the base roster will be made up of 18 characters for the launch of Invincible Vs, the Open Beta only allows players to try 10 of them out. These 10 are Invincible, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Monster Girl, Bulletproof, Allen the Alien, Omni-Man, Battle Beast, Robot and Thula.

It’s worth noting that this beta is only available to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series players. PC is being excluded for the beta as the developers are apparently quite aware of how often characters get leaked via datamining.

Universa and The Immortal have already been revealed as DLC, but there are also two other unknown fighters that will be released around Fall 2026 and Winter 2026. Evidently, the developers wish to keep the identities of these two DLC characters hidden for the time being, which is why the PC version isn’t available for the beta test.

As such, Nigel Woodall recently conducted input lag tests on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the Invincible Vs Open Beta while at 1080p. Since the PC version is unavailable at this time, further tests will be necessary when the game officially launched on April 30, 2026.

Not surprisingly, the PlayStation 5 version has a bit more input lag compared to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S due to its lack of 120hz output option. On average, the PlayStation 5 saw an average input delay of 60.36ms (about 3.62 frames) while the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S feature input lag of about 47.97ms (about 2.88 frames) and 48.45ms (about 2.91 frames) respectively.

Overall, the differences between the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series versions in terms of input lag are fairly minute, so it’s fine to just go for whichever version is preferred. Check it all out below:

As is generally the case PS5 version suffers because of no 120hz output option. pic.twitter.com/nwr1wuXr4a
