Update: Rockstar has confirmed to Kotaku that a data breach occurred.
“We can confirm that a limited amount of non-material company information was accessed in connection with a third-party data breach. This incident has no impact on our organization or our players," said a Rockstar spokesperson.

Rockstar Games has seemingly been breached by a hacking group called “ShinyHunters”.
They have given Rockstar until April 14th to pay a ransom fee, or else they are threatening to release information that they’ve accessed via internal systems such as Snowflake.
The potential exposure includes financial records, player spending and geographic data, marketing timelines, and contracts with voice actors and music labels.
