First time posting here, looking for some feedback on my setup!
I’m trying to refine this into a clean, cozy, and functional workspace for:
- Coding / studying
- Content creation
- Gaming
I also have “dust allergies”, so I’m aiming for a “minimal, easy-to-clean setup” without losing the cozy vibe.
Current setup
- Dual monitors on arms
- Warm ambient lighting (behind monitors, desk + PC)
- Mic arm + Stream Deck
- A few plants
- Optional(Extra large grey desk mat, same size as the one seen in the image)
Planned upgrades
- 120 cm shelf above monitors (TRANHULT + SANDSHULT) IKEA
- 2x black frames (30×40) IKEA
- Warm lamp on the shelf (SAXHYTTAN) IKEA
- Hanging plant (vine style)
- Possibly LED strip under the shelf (Govee)
Looking for advice on:
Shelf height + positioning relative to monitors
Whether frames should go under the shelf or separate
Cable/cleanliness improvements I might be missing
Lighting setup “keep it subtle vs add LED strip”
My goal is a balnced battlestation that looks clean on camera but still feels cozy IRL.
