A fresh batch of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges arrives as your console’s clock ticks past midnight into Friday morning, refreshing the five events for another seven-day window.
Weekly Challenges are a post-career bonus mode available to players who have finished the GT Cafe storyline (completing Menu Book 39 and watching the ending movie). Each week brings four standard World Circuits races plus one Special Event, and you have a full week to work through the set before it rotates out.
Rewards scale with your progress. Clearing one, three, and five events each triggers a bonus reward ticket that lands in your Gifts section, where it waits to be redeemed before it expires. Between the win payouts and the bonus tickets, a typical week is worth somewhere in the region of 1.3m credits.
This Week’s Highlights
The Special Event this week is a Time Trial at Dragon Trail – Gardens Reverse, and the twist is that it runs in the rain. You’ll be tackling it in the Mercedes-AMG SLS AMG ’10, and a big rear-wheel drive GT car on a wet circuit is going to be a genuine handful.
The Sunday Cup 400 is a particularly short outing at just two laps, but 48,000cr for the win makes it one of the better credit-per-minute events on the slate. The Gr.1 race at Fuji, meanwhile, should be the visual highlight of the week, with prototypes at full tilt down that long main straight.
