This can totally host a Cyberpunk 2077 version, if the headsets know where they are you can hack each other, bust into networks, and with haptics + audio, maybe even simulate a netrunner deepdive.
My original goal was to make this for kids to get them outside and play in the park, but now I'm thinking anyone can play this. When I started, I just imagined myself as a kid and what I liked to do is go outside, pick up some sticks and pretend they were swords. Pick up a rock and pretend it was coins, etc. I thought, instead of getting children addicted to screens like we are currently doing, we just add an extra layer to the imagination they already have!
Of course, this is a whole new technical challenge, far beyond just optics, which I am trying to keep as a HUD. This is also far beyond my capabilities as an individual, so if some of you have any ideas on how to solve technical challenges or maybe even an idea for a game you could play with this, let me know!!! I think the world really needs something to get us out of the house again.
Gameplay:
It is really hard to explain the whole game mechanics without experiencing it but think of it like Pokémon Go but instead of seeing the Pokémon, you hear them. Also, you can fight with other fellow players since headsets will know each other's positions.
Anyways, thought I would share something I made, and of course, it was inspired by the BD Wreath!
