Who’s this CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 prebuild for?
So, you’ve got an RTX 5070 here, which is one of the best graphics cards for 1440p gaming you get, if you’re looking for something future-proof and packed with the latest-gen technology, courtesy of Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. What you’ve got here is 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which is significantly faster than the older GDDR6 found in the 40-series and many competitor cards. On top of that, there are 4th-gen ray tracing cores and 5th-gen tensor cores, the latter of which provides a dramatic boost to its AI capabilities, and powers MFG, which is important if you’re planning on using the RTX 5070 for 4K gaming.
This graphics card is at its best when used for 1440p gaming, however, and this rig doubles down on that by opting for one of the best gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. This processor was once the gaming King, but has since been dethroned by the likes of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The good news is that it’s more affordable nowadays, and still packs a huge 96MB L3 cache and 5GHz boost clock, designed for very high fps and low latency gaming. For the RTX 5070, it’s one of the best CPUs to go for, and even with it being a gaming-first option, it still has a decent 8 cores and 16 threads, which can be used effectively for streaming, multitasking, and creative workflows.

Things to consider
This build would be more at the top-end for an RTX 5070 PC, but I’d say it’s worth it, especially given its design and build quality. I’d say that it may be worth weighing up going for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5070 build, but the difference for the price (a slightly higher 5.2GHz boost clock and better thermals) may not be worth it for the extra spend. On the other hand, you may find that something with a higher core count would be preferable for content creation, in which case an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, RTX 5070 build may be more your thing.
