Microsoft has announced the bumper new batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April on consoles and PC, and it includes the long-awaited arrival of Hades 2.
This month’s list is a meaty one, but before we jump into it, we’d like to underline three games that made their debut in between last month’s reveals and this refresh: Easy Delivery Co. (26th March), Super Meat Boy 3D (31st March), and NBA 2K26 (3rd April).
Moving on, Xbox Game Pass April Wave 1 (more reveals typically arrive later into the month) includes the following:

Warhammer Vermintide 2 (Cloud and Console) – 8th April, now with Game Pass Essential

Despite its age, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) continues to surpass many recent CoD entries in popularity, so this is a perfectly timed addition to the catalogue, especially if you didn’t give its notable campaign and-or multiplayer a proper shake back in the day.

Perhaps it’s the indie front which will get subscribers talking the most though. Hades 2 is no doubt a huge get here, but Vampire Crawlers and Replaced are among the hottest releases of April 2026, and having them available on day-one bolsters this line-up nicely.
Of course, new arrivals also means new exits. This month, five different games are leaving the service on 15th April, and one of them is massive:
Ashen (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Grand Theft Auto V (Cloud, Console, and PC)
My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Terra Invicta (Game Preview) (PC)
