I maximised my i7 6700k overclock on the Z170 Prime before my Z270 Apex arrives and i delid the cpu to replace the standard TIM with TG Conductonaut Extreme, it performs quite well and beats the current best score on occt benchmarks at 4.86ghz
I already have a delidder, liquid metal and sealant, i’m just waiting for the new motherboard so i can do the delid and reorganise the messy wiring inside my case done by the previous owner so i should be able to rebuild the system within the next 2-3 weeks
