All this is based on Snd(i dont play respawns and im sure it’s different in those modes)

Snipers are busted and before you say skill issue, hear me out.

* No downsides to building ads speed

There are no downsides to using a sniper.

For every other class, you must trade something eg bullet spread or recoil control for ads speed

On snipers you can stack that without any downsides. Hit flinch doesnt change, damage range doesnt reduce, movement speed, nothing changes. You can argue that recoil is impacted but that doesnt matter for quick scoping.

This makes them dominate at all ranges

* Fast ads+ttk than smgs at close range

When using most smgs, Snipers can ads, shoot and kill you before you kill them if you start aiming at the same time. One of the few guns that are an exception to this are the vmp and fennec(maybe msmc but idk)

* Game movement ads to it.

What does a sniper do when they miss, slide to your side and try again. Its so simple but that gives them a second chance to kill you. Why not do the same with an smg? Goodluck not dead sliding. Basically youre forced to stand still while the sniper dances around you

* And at mid range

At mid range you think assault rifles will dominate but nope. Snipers will still diddle you. The only gun that holds up according to me is the amax(can you tell that its my favourite gun?)

And this is a question but why is the glint so inconsistent? Its there sometime and sometimes not. Is there something im missing?

And if you think im exaggerating then i challenge you to play snd for 2 days with an smg (no vmp though). I guarantee that youll agree with me after that

Balance suggestions

* Shorten natural range(that way if you wanna camp then you can add damage range attachments at the cost of ads speed)

* ads speed attachments increases your hit flinch

* Ads speed attachments reduce range and damage range attachments reduce ads speed
