Alex was recently released alongside a balance patch that applied changes to the entire roster. As such, players have been putting time into the game for the purpose of figuring out which characters were the most impacted by the balance patch.
In a recent video, iDom spent some time analyzing the tier list put together by DFM|John Takeuchi and FAV|Moke. Following this, iDom quickly whipped up his own tier list that provided a sneak peek at his early impressions of “Season 3.5.”
According to iDom, Ed, JP, Blanka and Sagat are currently the strongest fighters in Street Fighter 6. It is noted by iDom that he’s not entirely sure what makes Sagat so strong, but he ends up placing him this high since that seems to be the consensus among top players at the moment.
Ryu, Mai, Terry, Akuma C. Viper, Rashid and three others have been positioned in the A tier group. During the video, iDom mentions how Ryu, Terry and Akuma are all effectively the same character in terms of what they’re able to do, so they’re fairly interchangeable.
Of course, iDom isn’t entirely sure about Alex, the newest addition to Street Fighter 6. For the time being, he’s been placed at the top of C tier, but that could end up changing with more time.
E. Honda, Marisa and Lily are said to be the overall weakest characters. Ultimately, not much was changed for these three in the latest balance patch.
