Jackets roll past Barbourville, Hancock in three-inning games

CUMBERLAND GAP, Tenn. – After winning two lopsided decisions to start the week, the Middlesboro baseball team fell, 6-2 to host Cumberland Gap on Thursday. Coach Tyler Yoakum’s Yellow Jackets opened the week with a 20-4 victory Monday over Barbourville and followed with an 18-3 win Tuesday over Hancock County, Tenn. Both games were three-inning affairs. No statistics were made available for any of the three games.
Next up for Middlesboro (4-3) is a 52nd District game April 13 at home against Harlan.
