It’s Friday again, which means a fresh set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges has landed. New challenges arrive the moment your console clock ticks past midnight into Friday morning, so depending on your time zone, they may already be waiting for you.
Weekly Challenges are a bonus mode available to players who have completed the GT Cafe career (through Menu Book 39 and the ending movie). Each week brings five challenges: four standard World Circuits races and one Special Event, which is unique, one-week-only content. You have seven days to complete them before they rotate out.
Rewards come in the form of bonus tickets that increase in value the more events you finish, awarded at the 1, 3, and 5 completion milestones. These tickets are sent to the Gifts section of the game and need to be redeemed before they expire. A full sweep of all five events this week is worth just shy of 1.2 million credits when you factor in win rewards and ticket payouts together.
This Week’s Highlights
This week’s Special Event is a one-make race featuring the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, using the GP Layout with no chicane. The no-chicane configuration is an interesting choice that should make the final section of the track a bit more straightforward for this extremely fast electric car.
Elsewhere, the set includes one of GT7’s newest tracks in Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, which should make for an entertaining 12-lap touring car race. And pick-up trucks are back, hitting the desert terrain of Big Willow…
