Evo 2025 champion releases new tier list for Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes]

The Arc World Tour 2025-2026 Finals provided a sneak peek of a silhouette of the character that’s due to join Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes] before the end of 2026. It will be interesting to see if this new fighter will come packaged alongside a balance update.

As such, Evo 2025 champion BBB|Defiant recently released his final tier list, at least for this version of the game. Notably, Defiant was able to win Evo 2025 using Londrekia, Hyde and Ogre, who all rank in the A tier group or higher on Defiant’s list.

According to Defiant, the best characters in the game right now are Orie, Hyde, Wagner, Linne, Eltnum, Akatsuki and Izumi. They’ve all reside in the S tier group as a result.

Ogre, Byakuya, Nanase, Tsurugi, Seth, Londrekia and Carmine are also said to be very strong at the moment. Due to this, they’ve been positioned in A tier.

Users of Mika, Uzuki and Chaos are likely having a difficult time against the rest of the roster. Defiant has placed these three at the very bottom of the tier list.

As of right now, it’s unknown if there will be a balance update with the release of the recently announced character. We’ll just have to see how the meta changes should that happen.
