I’m not a sommelier of story games, 90% of all my time spent gaming is in multiplayer fps games, I’m a competitive gamer for the most part. I have played maybe less than 30 story games in my life. Having established that, I need to say that Phantom Liberty is such a masterpiece and feels like the best DLC ever made.
The music is peak, the story is enticing and I simultaneously hated/loved this game, the way the story was going and all the characters every step of the way since it was like having your guts twisted and you somehow loving the experience. I even took a couple days off university once President Myers leaves.
This is mostly an appreciation post, I have a lot of questions but I’ll probably make a separate post for them like who to choose (Reed/Song) and the like.
I do have one question that I’d like to ask here though, how do you guys replay parts of the games or major story points.
Like choosing between songbird and Reed isn’t just one or two decisions, you kinda have to start deciding between them way before. Or choosing whether to be comfortable with Johnny or fight him as much as possible so he doesn’t take over.
These are just two of the biggest choices I have had to make in the game just yet (I haven’t met Hanako in Embers but in my defence, I JUST got that quest, I didn’t do GIMME DANGER till PL was done.)
