The tag fighter from Riot Games, 2XKO, is getting a new fighter. It feels like it has been a while since we got Caitlyn kicking and shooting her way onto the battle stage, and now the assassin Akali joins the ranks of Champions duking it out on our screens.
From the gameplay reveal trailer you can see below, Akali seems to thrive in rushing the opponent down. With her smoke, she can get to an opponent quickly, hit them with a quick mix up or risk a full combo, and then dart away once more. She seems a bit like Warwick in terms of speed, but looks to have a lot more defensive or utility options.
Being able to slash across the screen, juggle an opponent for quite some time in the air, and move in incredibly quickly, Akali looks like she’ll be a menace in the right hands. She arrives for 2XKO next week, on the 7th of April.
