The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy developers Too Kyo Games are no strangers to mischief even on a regular day, so it comes as no surprise that they’ve prepared a little something for players for April Fools. Ditching the familiar format of grandiose fake announcements, the surprise is tucked away on the Hundred Line’s official homepage.

Something’s happening…

Accessing the site (note that this seems to only work on the Japanese version) leads to the unusual prompt “This site does not include 18+ content,” to which you’re supposed to answer with either “I’m over 18” or “I’m under 18.” While choosing the latter will lead you to the website as usual, the former will flash you with a compilation of The Hundred Line’s most risqué in-game CGs, belonging to the Cult of Takumi route (as promised, the images are not actually 18+, but some of them are definitely NSFW).

The screen then transitions to another suggestive CG of Takumi and Nozomi with the dramatic caption “Beyond The Cult of Takumi…” Anticipating that this would lead naive fans to hope for some kind of steamy epilogue content or sequel, SIREI then makes a sudden appearance to laugh in your face, with a “Did you really think an 18+ version would come out?” He then cautions that being too caught up with your carnal desires will get in the way of your future life, and tells you to “take this as a lesson and live your life accordingly.”

Given the popularity of the Hundred Line’s Cult of Takumi route, it seems Too Kyo Games knows its fandom well.

The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is available for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
