I've recently wanted to play COD again as I haven't played it in a long time and my friend recently got it too. Not too recently I could launch and play it but all of a sudden I cannot and I don't even know why.
When I try launching COD on Steam it says it's starting but the COD HQ just never appears, my cursor shows that it's loading something and then after waiting for a bit and executing the installationscript Steam just says it's closed. In the Task Manager I could see that it is trying to start the task "call of duty" but then after a bit the task just closes. I have also tried launching MWIII (as it's now also seperate from the HQ) and the same problem seems to be there too.
I have already tried the following:
- Restarting my PC
- Reinstalling COD
- Running Steam and COD as Admin
- Updating my Drivers
Can somebody please tell me how I can fix this issue?
Somebody already told me that it might be because of certain Apps I have installed that the Anti-Cheat detects as cheats or something like that which can't be, especially because not too long ago it did work and in the mean time I dont believe I have installed any apps, besides the fact that I don't have keyboard/mouse modifying apps.
Just to be sure I have put here a video of me scrolling through my App, so that somebody can tell me if they recognize some of them as "banned". (even though that is probably not the issue)
