I delidded my 9800X3D a while ago and it wasn't the first CPU I delidded. I also made sure to remove the Indium completely. I installed it together with Thermal Grizzly's AM5 High Performance Heatspreader.
And for a while I was wondering why my 9800X3D had such a bad performance. Only 4500 in Cinebench 2026. Though I'm not completely sure, I think I found the reason:
The liquid metal kind of crystalized/vapored out. I really don't know why that happened.
