With Esports World Cup back on the horizon, qualifiers are very much on and DreamHack Birmingham is one of the first stops with such status.

There are four spots available for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and two spots for Street Fighter 6, so for both games the hungry pro players have come out in droves to try and grab their spots in the high-stakes event later this year.

Street Fighter 6 sits at over 130 participants while Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has just above 50 signups, but the names present at this event are undeniable and the competition is going to be absolutely vicious.

Not only are there Esports World Cup spots up for grabs, but there’s a huge prize incentive motivating the players here at this very event as well. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has a $56,000 prize pool with the winner netting $17,000 for themselves, while Street Fighter 6 has $50,000 total with $15,000 going straight to the champion.

Streaming is being done at EWC Plus En 2.
