There’s a serious exploit in CS2 that allows players to replace game files and gain unfair advantages on official servers.
From what’s shown in the video, this includes:
- Full wallhack (seeing players through walls)
- Ability to disable smoke and flash effects
- Custom file/mod injection without being detected
- Works in competitive/premier modes
- No VAC ban triggered (at least currently)
The issue seems to come from the game allowing modified files without proper validation.
What’s worse — this bug reportedly exists since around mid-2024 and is still not fixed, which means it could be widely abused without being visible in stats.
This is a huge competitive integrity problem.
How long do we have to wait for a fix for something this serious?
