I honestly have nothing against Samurai, their version is even pretty good, it's not bad. But this cover version… I found it much better and more engaging than the original version. I'm someone who doesn't cry easily, I don't cry at all, but when I heard this alternative version of Never Fade Away, the tears came instantly, the vibe is heavy, melancholic, and it gets worse when the credits play, because then you know your journey is over, there's nothing new left to see. I firmly believe that the songs in the Cyberpunk sequel will be just as insane as this one. Thanks for writing this song, Johnny.
