Shoot ’em up game Cotton Rock With You will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on August 6 in Japan for 6,380 yen, SUCCESS Corporation announced. It will support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish, and Portuguese language options. An arcade version will also be available.
The PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 versions will be available both physically and digitally. A limited edition will also be available for 11,880 yen, which includes a main character acrylic stand set, the original soundtrack CD, and an art book.

Cotton is the original cute ’em up series, which will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2026. This entry is the sequel to Cotton Fantasy, which launched to critical acclaim as the series’ 30th anniversary title in 2021.

In search of the Willow candy scattered across the world, the sweets-loving and gluttonous witch Nata de Cotton leaps out of her magical kingdom and heads to… Japan!? A new adventure begins.
Exhilarating Gameplay Systems Return with 10 Playable Characters
In addition to the eight characters from Cotton Fantasy, two new characters join the fray as guests. The protagonist Cotton is even playable in an elegant oiran outfit. The guest characters are Izuna, the beautiful girl (?) ninja from Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja, and Psyva Ria, a character based on the player aircraft from Psyvariar 3. There are 16 total stages, including six selectable main stages, as well as bonus and final stages.
The gameplay systems from Cotton Fantasy return, and each character’s unique attacks are exhilarating as ever. The fully voiced adventure segments offer even more volume than the previous game.
