Alex recently joined the Street Fighter 6 roster alongside a fairly notable balance update. Since then, players have been putting time into the lab for the purpose of figuring out Alex’s place in the current meta.
Just recently, it would seem that top Japanese players KEI.B, Dogura, Nemo, Pugera and Hotdog collaborated together in order to create a new match up chart for Alex in Street Fighter 6. How does the “Man with No Allies” fare the rest of the cast?
Evidently, Alex players are going to have a lot of uphill battles ahead of them if this Japanese match up chart ends up holding true in the long run. According to these top players, Alex has more disadvantage match ups than even ones.
Of course, it’s worth highlighting that Alex potentially has advantageous battles against E. Honda and C. Viper. Sadly, these are the only two match ups in which Alex will be able to truly shine.
Alex’s even match ups consist of Elena, Cammy, M. Bison, Manon, JP, Blanka and Zangief. At least Alex won’t struggle against JP in the same way that a lot of other characters seem to.
Although the rest of the roster are said to be bad match ups for Alex, his absolute worst fights will be against Terry, Jamie, Mai and Sagat. Going from top to bottom, the tier categories are labeled as hope, even, disadvantage and hopeless.
