My previous 7950X3D/X670E gaming wifi was giving me problems unrelated to OCing, so I wanted to switch cpu and motherboard and I had the money. Ordered the 9950X3D and X870E Dark Hero
I was able to get 6400MT/s 1:1 working at 1.27v vsoc. FCLK at 2133, 2200MHz doesn't post. My previous chip needed 1.28v vsoc just to work at 6000 1:1, massive difference 🙂
I haven't touched any CO yet or many of the timings. Tcl can't go below 30, trcds can't go below 38. I tested up to trfcsb. I'm using the mixed bank refresh mode, so trfc1 doesn't have an effect
Will continue tightening other timings, this post is mainly to show 6400MTs 1:1 working LOL
Also if anyone has other advice on OCing this, that would be appreciated
